The first picture on the carousel is a recent family photo. I’m a big family person, and being two hours away from them can be really hard. I’m incredibly close with my siblings and tell them everything. Whenever I’m feeling down, they always make sure I’m okay (that’s what the next picture shows). Our newest addition to the family is my nephew, who was born right before I left for college! We recently went to Disney on Ice for his 6-month birthday, which was so special because I used to go every year for my own birthday growing up. I love him so much, and it has been the sweetest experience becoming an auntie! The last two pictures are of my two dogs: one is a pit bull named Keba, and the other is a cane corso named Kilo. Although I am allergic to dogs, I love them so much and can’t help cuddling with them. I just take Benadryl for the consequences lol.
This is me last year standing in front of one out of four of my artworks that were selected for the Griffin Museum of Science and Industry’s Black Creativity Juried Exhibition. I felt so grateful and excited to be part of it two years in a row, and my heart was so full seeing my family and friends come out to support me and see my artwork on display!
This is a painting I did of my favorite artist, Billie Eilish. I am a hugeeeeee fan and know all of her songs by heart. I went to her concert my freshman year of high school and almost died from excitement. She has really got me through some tough times in life!
